I love teenagers. I know they can drive us all nuts, but man, they are so into finding their own voices of expression. This week, my son Isaac (age 13) got his braces. He didn't hesitate what color he wanted them to be - BLUE - so that he could show everyone with his wonderful smile that he is a Big Blue New York Giants fan. Everyone's got their own style, and favorite color. Gotta love teenage conviction.--John Anderson

Isaac's personal style

The pain, the pain
Cardinals make it!
The Arizona Cardinals are going to be in the NFC Championship. They truly are the Chicago Cubs of the NFL. The Cardinals, in fact, are the only team never to have played in a Championship game since the AFL and NFL merged back in 1970. Wow. Of course we want it all to end for them there, on a cold blustery day in the Meadowlands against our beloved Giants.
For that to come true, though, we need to beat those birds in green.
Go Giants!

Brownies
We were not very happy about the Giants losing their first road game since the first week of the 2007 season (especially to a team whose mascot looks like an elf pretending to be bad ass with the weirdest big toes ever!) but if it was gonna happen, better now with the Skins AND Cowboys both losing as well last week.
We did dig the retro helmets of the Brownies, though. Gotta love old school design!

Giants
We are so happy here at The Farm about the G-Men, given last season's insane Super Bowl win and now this season, starting off at 2-0. Eli was on fire today, as was the defense, when they whomped the Rams 41-13. Man do they play well in those red-lettered away jerseys. Maybe they should just stay away from Jersey all year, and play on the road every game! It was Big Blue's 12th consecutive victory on the road.
