Well, I guess there is no question now who is the greatest team in football - the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steeler Nation is only going to grow after the Steelers secured their sixth Super Bowl title. Congrats to all those black and gold fans everywhere. The Steelers are now the football version of the Yankees. --John Anderson

The pain, the pain
Cardinals make it!
The Arizona Cardinals are going to be in the NFC Championship. They truly are the Chicago Cubs of the NFL. The Cardinals, in fact, are the only team never to have played in a Championship game since the AFL and NFL merged back in 1970. Wow. Of course we want it all to end for them there, on a cold blustery day in the Meadowlands against our beloved Giants.
For that to come true, though, we need to beat those birds in green.
Go Giants!

The 0-16 Lions - time to change their colors
Wow...you gotta feel for a team that sets a new record for losing. 0-16. Maybe some of that federal funding can go to the team.
As if Detroit didn't have enough problems this year. One idea to fix their problems next year is to change the color of their uniforms. Their colors are blue and silver (after their owners, the Ford Motor Co.), but maybe they need to be a bit more regal and go for brown and gold, like their mascot, and one day become king of the football jungle.

Brownies
We were not very happy about the Giants losing their first road game since the first week of the 2007 season (especially to a team whose mascot looks like an elf pretending to be bad ass with the weirdest big toes ever!) but if it was gonna happen, better now with the Skins AND Cowboys both losing as well last week.
We did dig the retro helmets of the Brownies, though. Gotta love old school design!
